As the opening forum of Milano Design Week · CHINA&DESIGN@Zona SARPI, the "China-Europe Design Industry Development and Collaboration Forum" is curated and presented by BEIJING KEYI, the exclusive official operating agency of Milano Design Week · CHINA&DESIGN@Zona SARPI, and jointly organized by Milan China Design Center and Camera di Commercio Cinese in Italia. On April 15, 2024, the forum will take place at the main stage of the opening ceremony in the square outside Cisterne of Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan.

The forum is hosted by the two initiators of this activity, Vittorio Sun Qun and Michele Brunello, and will invite Luca Fois, co-initiator of this grand gathering, founder of ZONA TORTONA of Milan Design Week and tenure professor of Politecnico di Milano, Lin Cunzhen, Olympic Brand & Image Expert of IOC, Hou Zhengguang, Designer of the Year, Ke Wei, Ecological Architect of the Year, Franck Millot, Maison&Objet Partnerships & Special Events director, Directeur of PARIS DESIGN WEEK, Hu Kun, ZTE Italy CEO, President of Camera di Commercio Cinese in Italia, among other guests to join the conversation.

With "China-Europe Design Industry Development and Cooperation" as the theme of its opening forum, the first Milano Design Week·CHINA&DESIGN@Zona SARPI manifests its ongoing mission to support the design industry and focus on promoting the overseas development of Chinese design brands. "From Milan to Paris" will carry out the grand plan of supporting and empowering the oversea develpment of original Chinese brands in a systematic and networked manner, provide all-round overseas services for Chinese enterprises, city brands, original designers and handicrafters, and help them land, take root and florish in the foreign market environment. The capacity and efficiency of this local support plan will become a common goal of the organizers of the China-EU platform.
