BRICK BY BRICK : HIGH-RISE HOUSING WITH SMART BRICK IN HONG KONG

2024-03-28

Hong Kong is the densest city in China, and therefore High-rise building has become a special type of  spectacle in the city. However, as appealing as it can appear, over-densification is a problem facing the  city. The proposed ideas harness AI’s potential to revolutionize traditional urban habitat, offering adaptive,  efficient, and sustainable solutions in architecture and urban design. AI’s role evolves to generate  dynamic and adaptive spatial layouts, addressing the diverse and changing needs of inhabitants, for  building and also city scales. Connecting All Scales embodies a holistic approach to design, where AI’s  capabilities are seamlessly integrated across Body, Interior, Building, City, Territory, and Planetary scales,  ensuring that every aspect of the built environment is thoughtfully considered, interconnected, and  optimized for a sustainable and harmonious future.
