The exhibited works are part of the achievements of the Design Department of the Academy of Fine Arts  of Hainan Normal University, the Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture (Li brocade) Inheritance Base of the  Ministry of Education, and Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism and Culture Building and Operating Li  Brocade Designer and Design Service Platform Project. There are a total of 45 works, including 15 clothing  series, 20 cultural and creative series, and 10 scarf series. The designed works deeply explore the Li  brocade culture, absorb the traditional patterns and decorative styles of Li brocade, innovate fashionable  elements, and present the modern vitality of traditional culture and art. In addition, when designing  works, full consideration is given to the needs of daily life and the tourism market, so as to better inherit,  protect, disseminate and develop the Li brocade culture, thereby consolidating and enhancing the visual  image of local brands in Hainan.

There are six undergraduate majors in the Academy of Fine Arts of Hainan Normal University,including  Fine Arts,Calligraphy,Painting,Environmental Design,Visual Communication Design,Apparel Fashion  Design,among which Environmental Design is the first-class national undergraduate discipline base,and  Fine Arts is the first-class province-level undergraduate discipline base.Currently,the college is the  only one that has received accreditation to offer master's degrees in two first-level subject-based  programs,Design and Art,and two professional programs,Art and Calligraphy and Design.The college  has built 17 laboratories,including the Apple Laboratory,Fashion Design Laboratory,Model Making  Laboratory,Surveying and Mapping Laboratory,Print & Printing Laboratory, etc.
