Zona SARPI

Zona SARPI was founded in the 1920s by Wencheng immigrants from Zhejiang Province and has a history of 100 years. More than 20 years ago, a dispute between Milan's Chinatown and local businesses caused by the density of wholesale business triggered a high level of awareness in the local society about the integration of Chinese and Italian cultures. Over the past 20 years, the local overseas Chinese community and business community have worked closely with the Milan Municipal government to systematically upgrade Chinatown. Today, Chinatown is full of various shops with a young and fashionable vibe, representing the diversity of Milano culture. The ADI Design Museum is also located in this area. Milano Design Week·CHINA&DESIGN@Zona SARPI will showcase the vitality and creativity of contemporary Chinese in three themes: new retail, new culture and new generation.
