CAI MING

CAI MING, founder of BOLONI Group. Born in Beijing, he worked at the Institute of Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences after graduating from university. He is the prototype of Lu Tao in the hit drama "Struggle". He established KEBAO in 1992, and subsequently created high-end home furnishing brands such as BOLONI and Tellmach, etc. In 2008, he founded the top Chinese club the "Nine Dynasties", which has become the originator of today's national trend culture. He introduced Italian design and German production lines into China, and was the first practitioner to evolve single-space design into whole-house customization. He cooperated with Zeng Fanzhi, Zhou Chunya, Fang Lijun and other first-line artists. He was invited to participate in the China-Frence Cultural Year, debuted home furnishing products in the Louvre, crowned the AAC Art China Award Ceremony, home furnishing design in the Forbidden City's cultural context, and teamed up with Sandra Rhodes, Hussein Chalayan, Kengo Kuma and other fashion and architectural designers from various countries. He has explored the boundaries of art, fashion and design again and again. He is a designer of celebrity, creating amazing cloakroom for actors Yao Chen and Zhang Tianai; cooperating with the London Fashion Fabric Museum to curate the exhibition "Artists Textiles: Picasso to Andy Warhol" in China, and is regarded as the first person in the field of home art and fashion, the master of lifestyle.
